you've really made me grow artistically and I can't thank you guys enough for supporting me 
Its a peacock feather...I know many people have some shots of it, and even similar ones too...I'm not trying to copy anyone, we all influence and inspire each other and I just wante to try my own version.
My mum collected some since my grandmother had peacocks and that was like years ago, like about 9 years
...and they still look as if she got them yesterday...and from everysense I wanted to take a photo of them...whenever I remembered that they were there 
I'm not exactly sure how to categorise this, macro or darkroom, since I did convert it to bw and did colouring...so I dunno

i saw this one in NIFCA too and was wondering what it was... i had to read the comments to tell that it was a peacock feather... this was another one that stood out in the competition...

apparently the judges didn't know they were water droplets lol...one told me he thought it was beads...and looked more abstract

i find that the judges though some of their decisions are good... most are rubbish... so many more pieces deserved medals this year
