This is what I think Luna would look like at the height of her power, around Celestia's current age in the series. Nightmare Moon is a more powerful version of Luna, so I took NM's design and altered it to a proper, non-corrupt Luna. Feel free to use this for wallpapers or anything else. JUST CREDIT ME. She is grown.. just not as old as her sister. And not as powerful believe it or not. The more power you gain the larger the alicorn. Hence hwy Celestia is so much bigger than everypony else. She is the highest celestial being.

Yes, but I assume that as an alicorn gets older (until a certain point), their power increases. So this is when she has the amount of power Celestia has in the series now. Nightmare Moon showed the amount of power Luna was capable of having (I don't consider the Nightmare forces cannon), so this is my interpretation of how Luna will look when her normal-self has reached that amount of power.Β Β

Ahh so you're smarter than I thought about this. Wlel good to know we're on the page page now. But yeah I do expect her to look this when when she has as much power as Celestia. And Nightmare Forces are kindda iffy.. They say they're cannon in the comics but down show up in the show?? It's complicated o.e. But yeah , glad we're on the same page now XD

Haha yeah, I never really liked the Nightmare Forces anyway, so I was glad they weren't in the S4 Premiere. I'm glad that you like my design! Oh, but I have a question. Do you think that Twilight will replace Celestia in the veeeeeeerrrrrrrryyyyyyy far away future? I would like to see that happen if the series ever reaches that point. I know she won't outlive her friends, and it would suck if they all became alicorns, so I think that if Twilight was now immortal, then perhaps the magic of friendship (or something) will give the rest of the Mane 6 immortality without becoming alicorns.Β Β They do have 3 more seasons left to do something like that, but I would at least like to see full-power Luna before MLP stops production of G4.Β

I actually think that would happen. I mean Celestia and Luna are only able to be labeled for controlling celestial beings. Twilight is the embodiment of magic itself. If anything she will be more powerful than any other alicorn will have ever been when she reaches her full potential and power. She can do more magic, more easily, than any other being in the show pretty much. and now that she is full of alicorn magic she can unlock even more power and potential. That's just my view on it. And as for the mane six being immortal.. I'm not entirely sure. Each of the mane six has family. If they become immortal.. then they'd all outlive their families.. Including Twilight. It's almost depressing. But I mean.. Maybe? If they do become immortal that'd be their only down side is out-living their families. Which I am sure Celestia and Luna had gone through that already. Well actuall yno since Celestia and Luna are born alicorns. But you catch my drift... Hopefully.

Yeah, I get it completely! But they wouldn't necessarily outlive Twilight. They are all connected together by the magic of friendship, which Twilight embodies. It would be interesting if they were immortal as long as they possessed the magic of friendship. Twilight also has family, and Cadence married Shining Armor, which must have been a really hard decision for her to make if she know that she was immortal. because she knew she would outlive him, unless he, too, is made immortal because they are connected by the magic of love (being Cadence's talent and very essence). I am also sure that Celestia and Luna lost family because they were immortal (we never see their parents, and my personal headcannon is that alicorns 'ascend' after reaching a certain age, like 4000 years) and have lost many friends.Β
