I love this, in so many ways. I love how soft and passionate it looks. I love that you have the more boi-ish one as the vulnerable one in the painting. People will look at lesbians and make assumptions about our love and relationships on who wears what clothing, and what hairstyle and "who is the man in the relationship". It's so complex and it's so much more and we are all women. People don't get that. I think you perfectly portrayed real lesbian love. This is by far, my most favourite piece of art work that I have laid eyes upon. Art depicting lesbians is hard enough to find, but a piece like this, that captures the real love and meaning behind lesbians and love and not just a hot sex scene, is one of a kind. Huge kudos. I love it!
