Working hard as Lion Guard`s strongest took a lot of Imara`s time. Just like her team she was giving her all to help animals all over the Pridelands, the job, about which several years ago she couldn`t even think about. Being born to one of Scar`s lionesses, never having a chance to see her father just like her half-sister Tazama, becoming an exiled Outsider and living in constant hunger and misery, Imara was more than thankful to finally have a proper place in this life and the possibility to not just survive, but live. Though, the big, strong and fully-grown male sized lioness was still unusual for Pridelanders and thus she wasn`t really popular among the opposite gender like other girls from Vitani`s guard. It saddened Imara, but she didn`t want to bother anyone with her problems.
Imara`s fate changed when Afua payed a visit to the Pridelands as a future alpha male of South Mountain pride. As an important guest he was made an acquaintance with new members of the Pridelands pride, with Kovu as a future queen`s consort and with Vitani and her Lion Guard. Afua noticed Imara and complimented her strength and posture, which was an attractive quality for Mountain pride members, most of which were much larger than Pridelanders. Afua then payed several more visits and finally proposed to Imara and suggested joining his pride. As a Guard member Imara had to say no, but Vitani convinced her that she should go and be happy with the one she loves. Imara thanked her leader and soon enough she left together with Afua. The new Strongest has been found in Boga, Imara`s pridelander friend, who also grew big and strong lioness and who gladly accepted the role.
Since then Imara lived happily with Afua and later they had two kids, adventurous Fuata and little sleepy Shaba.
