A while back I had this idea to make a propaganda-style poster of VNV. Like those famous political posters from years gone by. I don't know of any others, so as far as I know, it's an original concept.Nina and I are going to see the VNV concert in Atlanta on April 7th (if you're in the area, you should go. Good times!) Only problem is that I couldn't find a good pic of Ronan to work from. So please excuse the lack of looking like him. If anyone's got a better one, please let me know.

I saw them for my first time in NYC a few months ago! AMAZING, i almost cried i was so excited. They've been my favorite band since i was 15.

I've seen VNV twice in NYC when they came to tour for their new albums, and both concerts were effin amazing.
The second time, though, I'd have to say that I fell in love more with And One than anything else.

Yeah, we caught them here for the Matter+Form and Judgment tours also. And I've got to agree that And One was the perfect way to start it. They came out with Military Fashion Show, PP's TimeKiller and covered Personal Jesus all while dancing in a pinstripe suit!
I'm glad you like it! The faces have bugged me since I made it because I can't get a good picture of them at a similar angle. Closest I found was a 97 promo shot and that really wasn't useful. If you know of any though, I'll definitely redo the faces.

Thanks. it was a lot of fun to make and I think it came out really well considering I couldn't find many good reference pics of them. If I can get a good shot of it, I printed it on a ribbed shirt for the concert.
VNV Nation is a European industrial group I could best compare to Depeche Mode or the AFI side-project, Blaqk Audio (in fact, VNV Nation had a heavy influence in the origins of Blaqk Audio from AFI when they helped on the last album if I'm not mistaken). I would definitely suggest them if you don't mind a LOT of synth DnB

Being somewhat of a vector man myself this is pretty nice. I like the colors and texture you added it makes it feel more vintage. My only problem is that the eyes and eyebrows need a lot more work in detail. It really ruins the devation because the whole devation flows nice, but when I see there eyes I feel like its butchered there.

They're a European 'industrial' group. Great music, with everything from chill to power drum and bass. The closest I can compare them to in terms of popular mainstream is NineInchNails, but that's not even that accurate. Let me know if you like them.

I had a girlfriend who visited Moscow back in the 80's (before the wall came down) and she brought back a ton of neat posters that looked just like this. The style is perfect.
