when enlarged, the child is not creepy at all...he is content to have a mother who cares...whether it is an apocalyptic Mary and Christ or a doomsday mother with robot-child, this provocative opus is what art is all about - powerful, captivating, and visceral!put it in my faves! BRAVO!

It was a very powerful painting, and the emotions of the characters came out very real. But that wicked smile on the child's face is very very creepy, or at least that how I make of it. LOL

This is a masterpiece. Brilliant composition with subtle use of tones in the shadow, a meaningful subject, careful consideration and technical grace. This is so quiet and effective.
I don't want to sound exaggerated in my praise, but i really think this answers my question. I've been trying to think of how I can say something without being cynical, or lazy, or being inaccessible. You're art is the level I want to aspire to. I think this is what real art is now.

want to say I really lov it, but I don't. I wa going to fav it.. it is a very appealing peace, dynamics, composition, the lady looks beautifull.. but the kid.. it really just scares me! It's like it's some evil creature sucking all the life out of her.. reducung her to it's state.. and somehow it feels like an image of maria and Jesus... (which might be the result of me looking at a lot of art history slides lately, but that somehow makes it even more upsetting.
Admire your art a lot, just been through most of it. Good Work and I lke the style a lot!

That's probably the funkiest thing I've seen all month, I really like the stylistic Dali vs Mucha juxtaposition you have going here. The hands I find are a bit small but they don't really take away from the whole. This is a well made painting, that's all I got to say.

Das kleine sieht irgendwie ziemlich unheimlich aus aber mal wieder sehr gut gezeichnet. I mag die ganzen details und den Mund der Frau (maria ? [m+c] ) ... sieht nach einem zml indischem mund aus

Absolutely amazing. I love the composition and how it is so reminiscent of classical Mary and baby Christ paintings(don't know if that was on purpose, but it looks like it was). Wonderful originality to it.
