Well let me respond to that, I'm not aware of any rivalry between Nissan and Chevrolet. But I know about Ford and Chevrolet, and they ARE rivals.
I'm not sure if you heard about it, but there's a PS2/XBOX game which states (or shows) this rivalry, called "Ford Vs. Chevy".Β As the game's Wikipedia article states, "the rivalry started byΒ Eddie Olson Β and Tyrone Baker by racing aΒ Ford Model T Β and a Chevy 490 in the earliest days of automobile racing".
Also, the Transformers' first movie (withΒ Shia LaBeouf)Β had Chevrolets, and also a Ford Mustang. The sequel only featured Chevys, GMC cars, and Pontiacs; if there's any Ford in it, I haven't seen or noticed it. This fact, I'm just mentioning.

Oh i see, i didn't knew about that rivalry, since im not fan of american cars, but i obviously know the Japanse rivalries and also the euro ones, anyway, i readed in a car magazine when the GTR came out, it was called the "Corvette Killer" and they stated a new rivalry, since the GTR beated the vette with ease

I see what you mean, but that happens all the time. Like Ferrari and Red Bull (powered by Infiniti) in the F1.
You know? If you manage to get a hold of a GT5 game (in case you haven't already) you might as well check the desriptions for the japanese racing cars, it shouldn't be the only time that Japan beats the USA in a race.
