It's funny how your perspectives on art change after a while. Originally, back in June with this piece I was going for a realistic picture of Phiro where she was eminating 'lady-like.'

Dedicated to everyone who has supported me and commented on my journals during this hard period of my life and thanks to akeli for making me feel a bit better tonight. I had an awful day, but she helped make it blue again. I probably would not have worked up the gumption to scan this tonight if not for her.

Please, no critique. I know her foreleg is ghastly. XD Since drawing this I have come up with concepts for a new, more biologically correct design for Phiro. Hopefully I will get around to posting the concepts for that soon. The experiment in this was illustrating short hair. I think I did a pretty good job, but of course there is much room for improvement.

lol I just realized she looks cold. Brilliant Brost, bravo. That works too!
