This is probably one of the most anatomically confusing drawings I've ever seen.

I know, I'm still trying to spot what's so weird about it... Mind sharing your thoughts?

I know the knees and the tail dont line up exactly in terms of joints- as well as the waist is awkwardly defined. But its a beautiful drawing none the less ^^

I had the same doubt, and solved it accordingly to the source of the myth. I read that when Spaniards came to America, they mistook manatees for mermaids, so their mermaids were mammals, then it made sense they had mammaries and then they had to reproduce the way mammals do, right? So they have developed genitalia; then whenever I do an abyssal, bonny-fish mermaid, they don't have breast and neither genitalia 8D!
I'm a creature of conceptualization, I die without it (?) xD
I like that toxic/radioactive look! X'DDD But yes, I promise I'll try to tone it down uvu
I used that trick, but fell hard for it, as anyone can tell 8) But yes, it's better to leave it for glow, it's way easier
I do ;W;
I love water and I'm afraid of big living fish.. except sharks, I love sharks

The solution is to have all mermaids reproduce through telekinesis or mental reality-bending.
But the real question is, do you like penguins. Are they sensitive to your needs?

Or not at all 8D XD
i never thought mermaids reproduced, that part scared me to death ewk! (?) X'D
Dunno why... But since those are like never dying creatures, I thought they could have been created all at the same time and go on like that, forget Andersen's little one, maybe she was just malnourished xD
Penguins are something quite unique! I like how varied they are and non-flying birds are just perfect. I just tried them once and I'm still toying the idea, it was a group, a tribe to be precise, in a war against bunny monsters in the middle of an artic world 8D
