SPOILER ALERT?Tablet broke a while back so didn't get to finish this painting until now. The scene after the Vault still makes me hellasad every time I think about it. Haurchefant, my friend...

My FC mates didn't give a single hint of the sadness to follow after my Vault clear. And man, was I wrecked! Tears and everything.
As far as the piece itself, it is gorgeous. You captured his genial spirit even in the midst of tragedy. That smile...there to the bitter end.Β

I know ... I mean I kind of knew it was coming but I definitely wasn't expecting it til a bit later...? And then whoosh, smacked in the face with the feels.

This is the saddest scene ever.... never I cried so much with a game than with this scene. Haurchefant was definitely my best friend and Square knew full well what they were doing with our hearts. I saw this in the first week of expansion, and I'm still sad now :/ I visit his grave sometimes, but now that I have his minion, I just walk around with my small token of his friendship. Beautiful drawing, tho... very emotional ;_;
