I can't imgaine that this picture was corrupted, because even with the scanner's evilness this pciture is still breathtaking, the colored pencil work is so amazing as in all of your artwork! The hair with all of it's flowiness is also extremely beautiful!

hmm, yeah...i DO get a lot of fin and tail ideas from the petals and leaves of plants. there's endless variety there.
with this drawing, you might be able to see the beginnings of a metamorphosis into "amphibian" mermaids...that live among the dense ferns and mosses of the cloud forests.
