Ah yes...I've seen him around. I think he is in one or two of the groups I'm in.

Well, I appreciate the thought and idea, however I don't think it would fit well with the rest of my twine series. The series actually got it's start from a few dreams that I had, and they were a little dark. It's sort of a personal area of my art, a style I developed by twine beings that appeared my dreams, whereas I most likely would not take suggestions because it has to come from within. ( hope that doesn't sound too weird )
What you suggested sort of sounds like a fun and playful idea, but really, my other drawings in the series aren't like that. I think it might take away from the meaning of the other pieces.
Also, I have noticed that I don't really have any block when it comes to my twine series ( at least, not lacking for ideas)...I have an endless amount of ideas where I want to take it, in fact, I'm working on one this evening.
My block usually comes with drawing lighter stuff, and ATCs...or anytime I feel obligated to make something ( which is why I'm taking a little break from ATCs). Raziel is the last one I will do until at least this first drawing in my new set is completed. I usually fair much better when I don't feel any constraints or pressures, and when it comes to this series, I feel free to take my time and do what I like ( I don't have to worry about whether or not it's going to be something someone wants to trade for). I'm in the beginning stages of a very big project with my twine series right now, and it's going to take quite some time to complete it all...probably a year or more at my pace. I will probably do an ATC or two in between these works.
But thank you so much for the thought, and I hope that you don't take offense that I don't think I can use your idea for my series.

Well, I did take the name of the angel from the Sefer Raziel HaMalakh, but this drawing is of an original character. Well, actually, it seems weird for me to say that, because I don't think of my drawings as " characters "...however, this is the way the DA category system is set up.
I just used that name, and I actually chose it after the drawing was complete. It's funny too, because I draw quite a few of these winged beings, but I never really thought of them as angels, heh heh. I don't really know what they are.
Also, there are only 4 subcategories under drawing/fantasy, and I don't think it would fit under any of the other 3 ( animal characters, manga & anime, and sword and sorcery). To be honest, I never really know where these drawings fit in the DA file system.

Yeah, I think they should at least add the " other " option under fantasy. They have to realize that not everything fits under those 4 sub-categories. Sometimes I was tempted to list them under surreal, but I don't know if that is quite the right fit either.
