Description
In my HC, Pitch decides to start growing back the molar Tooth punched out three years ago once he has enough strength.It takes a week and a lot of energy.
And yes, it's very painful, often leaving him looking and feeling feverish and breaking into a mild sweat at some points.
And yowling like a beaten hyena.
Fawna is there when he's doing this, and questions him about it.
This is before their friendship.

Pitch: *stares at her while chewing on the end of a toy Harry Potter wand* ………..For your information, pine-sniffer, it takes a LOT of energy. And I don't know if you've ever had tooth pain, but it's uniquely trifling.
Fawna: Hah hah, fair. Sorry!
Pitch: Hm. Think of it this way. There are baby teeth, and there are adult teeth. That's it. Obviously, as an adult, that was an adult tooth Feather Tits punched out of my head. Now think... I'm growing in a new one. But I'm not just growing it; I'm making it. As Toothiana will inform you, teeth are precious and difficult to replace or fix. Ha, Feather Tits! That's on par with Law's canon insult, "Go suck an egg, Rabbit.", a nicer way of saying "Go fork yourself." Sorry, I may be in my mid-20s now, but I still refuse to say the F word in casual context. In my mind, it shows a lack of sophisticated vocabulary and a lack of intelligence in general.
It is a nasty thing to lose a tooth in a painful way, but it sucks even more as an adult because you can't get that tooth back. Among other blessings in my life, I count myself lucky I have only had to have one root canal (on a rear molar) and a crown to replace the destroyed tooth. I've also had my wisdom teeth removed, but that was out of medical necessity thanks to the bottom ones being impacted.
