According to Tom Holland, Feige gave him permission to announce that the little boy in the Ironman mask in the second movie was in fact, Peter Parker.
Now, while that DOES technically make it canon, this was more or less confirmed to appease fans who were attached to the theory.
Either way, i think that's very kind and i MAJORLY APPRECIATE IT

Kit and i figure he probably snuck off earlier on to try and get a closer look at everything, Tony included, aaaand then all hell broke loose and they got UBER separated and PETER ALMOST HAD HIS TITS BLOWN OFF BY A GIANT ROBOT.

So Peter has always quietly hung onto that moment, and it's only after Endgame when he moves in with Tony that he reveals that he was the little boy who unintentionally got in the way.
So cute...
