OKAY LADIES AND GENTLEMANS. The San Diego comic con is officially over now. I'm happy to report that Satellite Soda sold the majority of the books. We have a couple left over, but I don't know if those will go up for sale on the site or not, more news on that as it evolves.In the meantime, the fact that the book is out there means that I can show some of the other stuff I worked on and can now release!

The basic, natural look your colouring has in this picture is really amazing... The brush-like texture on the whole picture and the soft colours with no strong highlights/shadows really make it seem like it wasn't coloured digitally at all. And I love how the colours of the character and the background flow together in the right lower edge... Very, very nicely coloured!

Well I'll have you know that around 50 thousand people show up to Chicago AND it's an ALL comic convention. It's perty sweet. Where the hell you live anyway?!?!

Hey MoNK u could produce a drawing competition to give away a copy or two of the left over books, on DA and Satellite Soda's site thus increasing the exposure of Satellite Soda's art further. also the people who purchased the book and logged on to the site will get a sense your a community who enjoys not jest your own art but the work of up and coming artists. First place could get a signed copy of the book, seconded place jest a book. Winner judged by the S.S team neways jest give it a thought. peace

Far as I know, we don't have enough copies left over to want to do that. If we ever invest in a second printing, it's a rad idea though, I'll keep it in mind thanks.

I like this.. except for one thing.
The shadow of the spring on the creature, too strong. Shadows from objects get more and more blured with distance away from another object. Depending on how strong the light source is, and this one appears to be average.
But thats just me.
