[EDIT] Abbey (thats what we named her) died 5 days after we took her in...........Were gonna miss you Abbey
Uwa~~so cute this kitten :3 I just had to post em'
We found her near a trash can =/ so I took her in!
But I dont know how to feed it! She doesn't seem to like the milk given to her, she just spills it D:

I know this is an old deviation but I felt I needed to comment. Earlier this year, about August, a feral cat in out neighborhood had kittens. One night it was raining really hard and the mother cat had decided to move her kittens onto our porch. she ended up dropping the runt off of the porch and we actually thought he was dead when we found him. He moved a bit so we quickly took him inside and microwaved towels to warm and dry him. I named him Simon because if he did die I wanted him to have a name. We bought him a special bottle of milk from the store and fed him and the next day we gave him back to his mother who seemed to accept him. Simon had two brothers and a sister we socialized them to us as they grew up and found good homes for Simon and his sister while the two brothers ended up with us. Just thought that I would share this story with you since you seemed to have a similar experience even though you had no way to get her back to her mother.

Ah, that's too bad. I'm sorry for you loss. That's how we got my kitty. My uncle found her mother in a trash can and gave her to my grandmother not knowing she was pregnant. She gave birth the next day. One of them had backwards feet and died soon after. I still have my cat, her name is Zoe.

it is always very sad, if a pet is dieing ... but it will stay in your memory. photography is wonderfull to keep it. for always. it was very open-hearted that took her without.

And today,he is lazier,and has worse breathing than usual...

my best friend had a similar problem!
she found this little stray calico kitten wandering around her house so she took her in.
sad thing is that the kitten was really sick, and they couldn't afford the medicene.
so instead, they pampered the little girl to bliss until she just dissappeared one day.
they looked every where, but couldn't find her.
she told me that sometimes, that animals will run away when they know they're gonna die.
I really miss that little Girl.
she was full of so much love too.
at least she got pampered, fed, water, and a whole lot of love in her last few days.

Its sad when a beautiful little kitteh passes....You tried your best. When I found my kittens (their mother died) I had to raise them with an eyedropper and vitamin d milk. I didn't think it would work, but they are HUGE and healthy now.

I'm sorry to hear about Abbey, though. I've tried to rehabilitate abandoned animals before, nine times out of ten they die within a week.
Kitten formula works really well. That's what I used for my kit raccoon and she was successfully been released into the wild.

Don't feel so bad. Sometimes abandoned kittens just die. The thing is to try again and not despair so much as it's better to have tried than to have not cared at all.

I love cats too and sometimes I've found stray kitties here too. Nowadays I have 3 cats: Kamikaze, Ed and Samantha. The 2 boys was found when they was babies, but now they are 4 and 3 years old.
Anyways, I'm glad the world have some people like you, who can feel the pain of these poor little ones.
