The battle of the canionLet go of the fire that had been brewing in his chest Lucifer was happy to see the gryph retreat even further down into the canyon. Her shrieks echoed noisily between the stone walls. Magnifying it until it sounded like there were several of the monstrous birds down there in the inky depths. Sticking close to the other birds Lucifer noticed how saw his throat was. The fire he held inside him may have kept him alive when it came to battling the gryph but it came at a price. He couldn't keep using his fire like this. Taking care to stick close to the other birds that filled the sky Lucifer glided above the angry gryph. Wiry of the fire she no longer tried to attack the small flock above her but awkwardly flew along the canyon.

TrappedSat is his little cold dark cave Lucifer took care to preen his feathers. He may not have been the most colour tyto in the world but even so he was a proud creature. Running his beak along the feathers of his left wing he flinched slightly as a small pain shot down it and into his side. He hadn't noticed the wound when it happened. It wasn't surprising really. He had been fleeing for his life and pumped full of adrenalin. The wounded wasn't big nor deep but it made his anger and determination burn hotting inside of him. This was going on too long, too many birds were being attacked. But it seemed hopeless attacking and attacking it.
