I'm looking at this, and for a perfect ten score the feet and tail should be strait up with no curve to the spine. Legs, feet, tail, and spine position makes a total score deduction of -4 for a max score of only six. I'm going to assume he picked up 1.5 points by facing magnetic north prior to starting his dive.

hmmm, i always wondered, how do those poor cute things not bash their skulls in when doing that, how do they know where rocks are, they just jump and slam their head into the snow.

Foxes have very acute hearing. They'll go into ninja mode and tiptoe on the snow while keeping their heads low to the ground. They can hear the slightest shuffle of prey an when they get near enough they go all ninja and BAM! They pounce on that little sucker! Though, i'm sure pouncing on hard, solid objects happen in the wild -.-' Hey, mother nature has to have a good laugh once in a while doesn't it? XD

This made me miss winter even more! Someone forgot to tell mother nature it was winter in my part of Canada, the tiny bits of snow we got didn't last more than a day. But Stupid Fox makes everything better! XD
