I love how the play of light and shadow leads the attention to the hands in this image. The hands of the woman in the shadow, the holding hands of man and kid, and the hand of the woman with the mobile phone. And while the contrasts are so strong, the exposure is excellent!

In some ways one might say this image is underexposed, however I think you nailed the exposure on this one. The deep shadows really highlight the interesting bits in this image: the boy, the woman's hands, the mans face, the silhouette in the background. Great shot!
