Excerpt from an interview with the incredibly successful bakery owner, Allison Kay. Interviewer (I) and Allison (A):

I: Your business has been met with astounding success
A: Yes! People like our goods, and we're happy to oblige them.
I: Some have questioned the... Intensity of your success, however.
A: Something's wrong with doing well? Absurd.
I: Well, there are claims that your bakery is a public health concern, leading to a noticeable increase in the city's obesity rate.
A: If people gain weight from eating a baker's baked goods, they're just a good baker. I make pastries, and I shouldn't be punished for making them well.Am I supposed to make worse food? Not sell to fat people? Limit people's donut intake? Ridiculous. This is a business. People get fat when a McDonalds moves to a neighborhood, too, y'know!
I: Maybe so, but there are concerns that your baked goods are particularly addictive, and have had extreme effects. Your bakery recently moved to a new location to compensate for the size of your clientele, you put it?
A: I was clearly referring to my number of customers.
I: Right, but this new location also boasts accessibility for mobility equipment. And that your cafe would now offer waiting services to deliver goods. I believe the advertisement mentioned "so you can sit on your fat ass and have the donuts come to you."
A: America's getting fatter. We know this. I'm not going to ignore this trend. Accessibility is only a good thing, there are thin people in wheelchairs! And as for the ad, it's just blunt marketing. People like to glorify indulgence at a luxury store- it's nothing more than that.
I: There's also concern that several of your employees are using mobility aid devices, such as bariatric power chairs. and scooters.
A: And I'm an equal opportunity employer, making a workload that suits them.
I: And what about the fact that none of these employees required bariatric aid, or were even obese, before their job at your bakery.
A; No comment.
I: Several weren't even overwei-
A:I said no comment. This interview is over.
