This is a lovely piece of work that really shows a tremendous amount of growth in your traits as both an illustrator and in designing such vibrant renditions of a character.  The take on the simplifications of the character have worked very well, while still retaining the energy and charisma that the character is know to express.  What's interesting, is that by simplifying the character this usually takes away from the characteristics, yet with what you've done here, your able to retain that complex formation and structure wonderfully (as evident by the arms and legs) that shows off the personality clearly and with such admiration.  Combine that with the cell shaded rendition of gradients and solid hues and this piece really shows such passion in what you can create from that imaginative mind of yours.
