One thing I DO like about this picture is the emotion. The girl's face I'm not so sure about, but the emotion on the boy's face is clear and very touching. I love he way his eyebrows go up as he looks up at her, and the sweet smile. The little beard is a nice touch, too. His countenance is just so sweet. The girl's is a little harsher, I'm not sure why. Perhaps the eyes are a bit too pointed? Her joy doesn't look as complete as his does.
I love the way this is painted. The delicate color choce is very nice and complementary, without looking forced. The simple rough way you colored the grass is really pleasing, as are the wrinkles on the clothes.
Onto the anatomy. The boy's looks very good to me, but to be plain, the girl's looks quite uncomfortable. I thinka good way to know if a pose like this works is to try it yourself. Get down on the ground and try and stretch yourself out as the person you're trying to draw - is it comfortable, would you naturally do it yourself? Personally, looking at the girl, I don't think I would contort myself into that position. I think it's particularly the drastic bend at the hips. It would be more natural if the body was straight, like the boy's is. Then it would look more like the two of them had been laying on the grass, maybe looking at clouds or something, and then decided to sort of curl their arms and hands together tenderly.
The only other thing that bothers me is the way the boy's right hand is clutching the girl's hair. That's just it - it really looks like he's -clutching- it, hard. Almost painfully. Maybe if his fingers were more spread out, like their were stroking her hair instead of grabbing it. I do love the way the girl's arm comes down to cup his face in her hand, though, that's so sweet.
So overall, I love the concept and the painting style; some of the anatomy just needs a bit of work. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> Keep up the great work!

Your style is so wonderful. I wouldn't have guessed that you're "not 100% in drawing humans". It's really well done. I love it.

Its simply out of my comfort zone. I mean, if you look at the rest of my gallery all I usually draw is anthromorphic animals. XD
But I really need/want to start drawing humans. =>
