We are aboard the Ascension, orbiting stationary on the dark side of a moon
That is not possible: the Ascension, you and me went destroyed a moment ago in the attempt to annihilate the Ori fleet invading our solar system and cover the escape of Atlantis and the remaining force of our fleet. We shouldn’t have this discussion in the first place!
*smiles* Good … your memories works well. What you call a moment ago was in fact 9 millions years ago. The original Ascension went destroyed when we managed to overload the 3 ZPM we had on board. When the ship exploded, we vaporized not only the Ori fleet but a good half of the solar system too.

I died … you and the ship where destroyed but, somehow I’ve been given the change to ascend to higher state of existence and go on with my life. A new life, filled with knowledge so overwhelming that not even you could understand my friend

Yes, indeed we made it my old friend. Atlantis flew with the fleet here, on Earth, millions of years ago, giving life to this galaxy … It’s out legacy
I’m glad to ear so Admiral but I still don’t understand how you are here and alive
Ascension is a tricky concept to grasp and you cannot fully understand it until you actually ascend … I’ve been doing that for the past 4 millions of years and believe me sometimes even I don’t understand most of the process. You on the other hand … well I was able to recreate you when I was in one of my transitory energy form state. I had all my memories and all the knowledge of the universe, so why not attempt to bring you back?
Admiral the mere concept is a failure, you cannot bring back to life a machine, cause it wasn’t alive in the first place
Life, Death are just words, they are just concepts that expands like the universe itself. And trust me when I saw that you where a lot more alive that many actual people that I knew. I created you in the first place as the Artificial Intelligence of the Ascension but you evolved: staying in contact with the thousand people of the crew, talking with me and my brother of philosophy helped you to make your own mind
Your brother En … is he still alive too?
Yes, he was among the first generation of Atlantis to ascend. I’m sure he is still around this galaxy, in a form or another

Stop calling me admiral or sir. You are alive. I’m sorry for the vague sensation you receiving but you are slowly connecting to your body as we speak. I created you a transitory chassis made of light but strong materials, jam packed with sensors and enough strength to punch Doomsday back to the stoneage

Again my friend, concepts. God is a word, a pile of concept and philosophy that make pretty much not much sense. It’s a word used by people to identify something they do not fully comprehend yet. Giving life is what every mother in this universe does … does that make them Goddesses? In part yes, but that’s not the point.

*checks his own body, moving the massive frame of his arms and legs* Feels weird … When I was in the Ascension it felt like I was flying in the wind … now it’s like I’m moving through water … weird but interesting
Baby steps … I’m sorry that I couldn’t create for you some sort of pillow sensation, memories if you will that would help you adapt faster but I strongly believe that direct experience is always the best teacher of them all

Not yet … I haven’t figured out if it’s better to name you or let you choose your own name as you slowly grow to maturity … for now you got a call sign, Centurion
Centurion … I do possess knowledge of an ancient civilization that employed troops with such names, Romans
I know I was there long time ago

So will you buddy … now why don’t we beam down to planet Earth, I want you to meet my daughter

Sarcasm I think … it’s fascinating … So this daughter, I’ve no intel on her
She is quite … new, she was born recently and I think is better you know her face to face without preparation … the result could easily destroy you brain or make you evolve even faster
I see … As I served you during the war, I will protect you daughter no matter what
Oh trust me she doesn’t need much protection but I appreciate that anyway. Oh and before we beam down to The Island, one more thing: you are not a simple machine. You are capable of self repair and evolution. I’ve no idea what can you become, it’s all in your hands now.
