This is a nicely set up shot, the composition is good, following rule of thirds. Everything is sharp and clearly has flowing parts and still parts. The viewer's eyes move well across the image. It's a good perspective to shoot at. You can see all the layers of the roof kind of like a cross section, and you can even see the caps to protect the truss's end grain. A very nice documental picture as well as artistic.
However, artistically, I don't think that the color is benefitting this shot. If your intention is artistic (and I'm assuming this is the case, with this being an art site), I'd say desaturating and adding some kind of monotone color would be nice. If you really want the color in there for documentary purposes, I'd suggest uploading the color version as scrap and linking to it from the monotone deviation as reference.

Thanks.
I agree that a monotone version of the photograph would be nice. I’ll play around with it and see what I can come up with. The only problem is that I do not wish to lose the patina of the copper, which on its own has multiple shades of red/brown and silver/green and brings a nice organic feeling to the metal. But at the same time I can see how a monotone version of this photo would be equally as beautiful. Nothing like being torn between two versions…
