Man I hope it's not too late to submit this!

Anyway...uhhh :devtreasure-planet-fans had a contest to put the characters of Treasure Planet into an alternate universe (journal [link] ) ...I chose the 1920s (why? Because it was the coolest decade EVER!)

So yeah, because it's no longer in space and we're back on Earth, that meant I had to make everyone human...and I could've just drawn Jim and be done with it but noooooooo Maddy is dumb and decides to make EVERYONE HUMAN.

I cut Jim's pony tale off muahahahahahahaah!!!!!!
Silver has boring colours for his original costume so I made his shirt blue (plus it's a sweater not a shirt). Also, I felt bad about taking away the cyborg thing, and giving him a peg leg again, so I gave him this weird metal punching glove. And an eye patch, because eyepatches are cool. As you noticed I changed the "pirate" thing to a gangster or smugler. (Glen Keane would kill me if he saw what i've done to Silver!!!)
B.E.N is now just Ben (Ben Gunn again?)....and those are bandages around his face btw, because I didn't want to draw a nose of a guy who originally didn't have a nose (being a robot and all...) so I cut his "human" nose off. ...Maddy is violent hehehe. I sorry B.E.N looks so messed up as a human, I did thise whole pictute in like 4 or 5 hours.

Btw: That little pink thing behind Silver's leg is Morph, who is now a naked mole-rat.

Because pirates are now smuglers and gangsters, "Treasure Planet" is now a lost ship full of cargo (of rather illigal substances) that Flint had tried to sneak into the country, and the map Jim is holding was the rout the ship was taking, which they will use to try and figure out where it crashed, as it has yet to actually sink into the ocean.

I just noticed I forgot Amelia's eyeshadow...crap.

I read too much Lackadaisy.

I hope my "Running on Air" picture kind of "claimed" this 1920s idea for the alternate universe, because that would suck to find out someone took my idea. I almost used that as my entry, but I didn't want to try and figure out how Audrey fit into all this...(though it probably wouldn't take that long to write up anyway).
