Well here you have it, my sixth dragon, and for now my last, for I think I'll take a break from new dragon designs for a while...This guy is a bit different from my other designs...I thought I'd play around with the scales a bit more and behold the result....cracked mud? or maybe stones? Either way, this dragon looks a bit less refined than the others and more raw...and for the life of me I can't decide what color he's gonna be.
If anyone has a suggestion for the color, just post it in your comments, I could really use some ideas on this one.

some touch of brown..It reminds me something about trees
and branches..anyway it seems to be an Arboreal dragon..

When I saw the thumbnail on my watch page I thought it had a mane of flames, but I see you've already done a red-coloured dragon
Its a really lovely piece, and reminds me I really need to work on scales, I've not had much success with them yet but I'm trying.

As for the scales, try small circles next to each other, and just make a ton of those, its simple and looks good when you finish, though it can take a long time...
