Description Dr. Parel was one of the top surgeons stationed on The Isle. He used his surgical skills in attempts to find a way to "cure" the patients within the asylum. His surgeries focused mainly on the brain, and trying to find out where the mental tumors were hiding in patients' brains. With the mentally sick being considered nothing more than animals, he had no quarrels trying out radical surgeries or removing chunks of their brains. Though lobotomies were quite effective, he kept trying to find the next method that would truly free them. Another interest of his were patients who came in with deformities or strange abilities. These odd patients would wind up on his cutting table as he tried to see how they functioned, and how one could remove such things. When the inmate rebellion occurred, Dr. Parel was killed by a horde of his patients. The angered patients took his own tools to his head and face, trying to see if they could "fix" him like he did to them. The patients did not have long to celebrate their victory of Dr. Parel, as the guards and soldiers returned to the island and murdered every last one of them. Dr. Parel now haunts the surgical wing of the asylum, forced to forever remain on The Cursed Isle.

As a ghost, Dr. Parel has retained his mind and surgical abilities, which he uses in his spiritual form. His interest in deformities and oddness multiplied as he was now surrounded by strange spirits and undead. With this, he captures other ghosts and creatures, performing his surgeries on them to try and find out how they function, and how they can be improved. His iron hand terminates in blades and cutting instruments, which he uses during his surgeries. Against feisty opponents, he can quickly cut them down with surgical precision, barely even moving his body as his arm slashes with lightening speed. Opponents who stand still for too long can be lobotomized with a quick, precise thrust of his spiked claw.

One type of his minion ghosts are called Bleeders. These large, boneless creatures have limbs bulging from tourniquets and large amounts of blood. They fight by swinging their grossly inflated limbs, sending enemies flying. As a distraction or weapon, the Bleeders can use needles in their fingers to pop one of their bulges, causing an explosion of searing hot blood. All that is left after the bursting is a bundle of dripping tendons. These blood sacs eventually will heal back up and refill. A Bleeder can speed up the healing process by latching onto foes with its mouth and consuming their blood.

I love the Bleeder! Maybe there could be a tiny variant with a huge stomach that swells with blood before it explodes, like a bomb?
