Behold, the thrilling conclusion to the trilogy... of 8 games

Gen3 has a special place in my heart
It was when i was when i was introduced to the Pokemon games, probably because i have no memory of Gens 1&2 coming out at all, seriously i grew up with Fire Red and Ruby so i didn't even know that Gen2 was a thing that was in between the 2, due to this i used to think some gen 2 Pokemon like Skarmory and Houndoom were Gen 3 Pokemon

i have a very strong memory of when i used to watch my older brother play ruby back in the day and 1 day he said to me and my little brother "who's your favorite?" i said Anorith because it was the only Fossil Pokemon i knew of at the time, he then let me train it as if it was my own Pokemon, and when it finally evolved i was over the moon by how dinosaur like it became, this cemented Armaldo as 1 of my favorite Pokemon ever since then, so naturally i HAD to have him in my Omega Ruby team.

i'd say i am most proud of how Torkoal came out here, i really wanted the "spooked Turtle" look, really reminiscent of my old pet Tortoise, originally i was gonna have a Camerupt, but after training 1 in Omega Ruby and having it keep dying every 3 seconds, i kind of got sick of it, so Torkoal too the spot and filled the niche a lot better.

I also noticed a funny thing when colouring this is in, my Hoenn can be split evenly with 2 red guys, 2 blue dudes and 2 green boys, funnier enough, both the greens are dragons (Sceptile Mega evolves remember) this is partially the reason why i had those 2 staring each other down here.

another fun Sceptile story is that i was hoping to teach him Dragon Pulse in Omega Ruby, but apparently you only get that post game, when i heard this i thought "bummer, guess i'll have to teach him Hidden Power or something, better check what type he gets" turns out his Hidden Power type was Dragon, nice little bit of luck there to fill in the gap until i got Dragon Pulse

3/8 down, this was fun to look back at a more recently made team, if i had 1 issue with this, it's that i feel like Flygon came out a little bit dark, besides that, i'm pretty happy with how this came out, and i hope you all enjoy it too.
