His eyes make me think of death where the soul or shell as some people call their bodies lies empty. His expression leaves no feelings of anything. Its almost as if his mind has left the real world and has jumped somewhere else.

These car photographs astound me.
I think it's fascinating that you've taken this picture, and your simple description completely changes it for me. It is a perfect, symbolic photograph that seems to represent the very beginning of where your work (and mine too, i suppose) will begin to go βcapturing this transition and time where our little loved ones start to grow out of childhood and into the age angst and pimples. It is sad and real and this is far too beautiful.
I do think I prefer the other car shot slightlyyy more -maybe it's the composition. But I'm fascinated by whatever it is running down the side of this car. As I said on flickr, it immediately reminded me of Sally Mann's "Tobacco Spit" photograph.

Beautiful photo- brings to mind a still from an atmospheric horror flick like "The Other" or "The Reflecting Skin" (of course we all bring our own set of references & where our heads are at when we look at something). Your shots never fail to impress.

I love this. The monochrome colour scheme (obviously protraying the past) and sort of encrazed look in the boy's eyes, while looking bored... I dunno... it looks like he's about to turn! XD
