Aw hell yeah, Mega Kanto starters! I think Charizard looks cool, but they still should have made him a dragon type. Maybe ditch the flying type aspect and replace it with dragon? Either way I think they screwed him over for his mega evolution as far as his typing goes.Gonna do Mega Venusaur tomorrow, and Mega Blastoise on Monday, do get hydro pumped for that! (oh god kill me now before I make more bad puns)

I wanted a Dragon-Type Charizard, and now I have one in the form of Mega Charizard X. Besides, no matter what argument you would have given me to justify Charizard not being Fire/Dragon (pretending Mega Evolution doesn't exist) I would have given the same response every time: So what? Fire/Flying is still 4x weak to Stealth Rock, and I'm sick of my Charizard being useless in competitive battling just because everyoneΒ in competitive usesΒ Stealth Rock! I just want my old bro to kick ass again!

2) The fuck are you on about? Mega Charizard X is the second coolest looking Mega Evo I've seen yet imo (behind Absol and Amphiros who are tied for first), PLUS HE'S FINALLY A FIRE/DRAGON TYPE! HOW CAN YOU NOT REJOICE?! WE CANNOT BE FRIENDS AFTER THIS!
3) Yes, but not before I finish playing Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquilizers and Pokemon X. That surgery did some serious shit with my head and I'm just now normalizing, so it may be a while before I have ANY new drawings on here (I estimate early November)

Hey I didn't say it was bad because it was Fire/Dragon Im excited about that, but mouth flames really turn me away from it. I'll admit though it growing on me a little but I still like Y's better with its OP speed and special attack.

There must have reasons to make Charizard be non-Dragon type Pokemon(such as game balance).

eh... I'm fine with fire flying. Sure, dragon would be cool but I'm thinking typing a bit:
Weaknesses
Fire flying (with drought): x4 rock x2 electric
Fire Dragon: x2 dragon x2 ground x2 rock (and possibly x2 fairy depending on fairy's balance)
Sure, flying has a bigger weakness, but dragon has MORE weaknesses.
Either way though, THAT CROWN, THOSE WINGS, THOSE SPIKES! HNNNG!

The problem with Fire/Flying types (competitively at least) is that Stealth Rock exists. If Mega Charizard had its type changed from Fire/Flying to Fire/Dragon it would have more weaknesses yes, but Stealth Rock wouldn't be quite as devastating. And do you even know how much and for how long we've all wanted Charizard to be part Dragon? We can't let Reshiram hog all the fun in being the only Fire/Dragon!
