Okay, so I was in a foul mood this weekend because genius me forgot to save the .psd file to my EHD for the Lavi pic I was working on, so I just started doodling randomly because I didn't feel like finishing any of the other half a million wips I have D:

Anyway...I like how it's simply coloured and not too complicated.
And who doesn't like Bak?
Also, the gloves aren't that restrictive. I wouldn't have noticed or minded if you didn't explain it, it's an awesome part of his outfit and gives him a cooler 'look'. The lines and everything's simple too, but maybe altering line thickness' along the sleeves where there is no solid color might look better? Just a thought.
Hoshino's drawing style at that point (I call it the second uniform drawing style) is also much much more sharper. Sharper lines, sharper wrinkles. I'm not saying that you were trying to emulate it or anything, just pointing that fact out.
On the wrinkles note, maybe you accidentally overdid his right arm.
Anyway, great stuff, awesome work.
