Yep - the actual base of the render wasn't that time consuming - but it took over 24 hours for the anti-aliasing to go through - its all the reflections and the fact I used a glass material on the object - tends to make the poor system go "EEEEP"

I found that RAM was important with bryce - the more Ram the faster the system went. HOwever, unlike a lot of other programs - bryce doesn't tend to lock up that often if it overloads. Even cooler - it tends to remember where it was in the render if you accidently have a power-outage. Nice let me tell ya
It runs great on my system - and while it isn't bottom of the barrel - it hasn't had any additions except RAM since 2002

Oh don't be - I used it on my system at work - that thing Might have one 3 stick in it. Now it did take a lot longer - but since I tuned it up to work after I left on Friday -it was done by Monday morning
