Alright, so lately all my work has been pretty emotional, dark, and really close to my personal experiences. While this one sort of does the same as far my experiences (not like it was really meant to, but it's more of a universal concept), the darkness is the main thing I wanted to focus upon.

Most people have heard of good Dr. Henry Jekyll and the evil monster into which he turned after his potion, Mr. Edward Hyde. This is the average take on good vs. evil and the internal struggle because of it. I made my own take of it, a female version.

I had the opportunity last year to be in the musical, Jekyll and Hyde. It was absolutely fantastic, and I loved it. I don't really have it much on my mind anymore, but I sort of thought this up while looking at some stocks, somehow or another. So this scene was inspired by certain parts of this musical... Sometimes, when Jekyll was transformed, their switch was by a mirror, where you could see Jekyll still in the mirror with Hyde standing outside in the regular world. Thus, my inspiration. Jekyll is portrayed as more of sophisticated person, while Hyde of course is a bit more...out there? This is more showing towards the end when Jekyll lost control of his "dark side" Hyde, who could come out any time he wanted, even without the potion. Hence the tears on the female Jekyll.

I had a lot of fun for some reason with this one... And it turned out probably as nice or nicer than I had imagined. Lastly, I added "Man is not one but two, he is evil and good" as a line from one of my favorite songs from it, "Façade".
