Description
THIS IS AN OPEN SPECIES
Update 1/21/2014
Reference Sheet here!
ALL DAT MANE. ALL DAT TAIL.
I recall coming up with this Species of equine way, way back when I was in 7th grade (4 Years). So I decided to revive the model and modify it. This is only a peek at the Chora's appearance.
The name of the Chora in this drawing is Mello.
For now, here's an overview
Species Name: Chora (Plural form is the same)
Originated from: The Arctic North
Cutiemarks?: No
Preferred living conditions: Freezing Temperatures, Mountainous Landscape, Caves.
Height: Roughly half the height of the average pony.
Defenses: Despite their small stature, Chora are fairly aggressive against predators. They'll swing their front hooves, bite, and impale predators with their two front horns (Horns only on male Chora). If frozen water masses are near, they'll even lure their attacker over the ice, and use their two front cloven hooves to crack open the surface below the predator; Causing it to fall into the icy waters.
List of Disadvantages
- Relatively weak hind legs
- Slow runner (Stubby legs)
- Reduced vision (Small pupils)
List of Advantages
- Heightened hearing (Two ears on each side of the head)
- Strong front legs
- Natural-born climber (Small hooves)
- Able to survive in below freezing temperatures (Thick mane/tail, and shaggy coat)
