Chapter 11 epilogue

“But what about-,” He cut me off with a kiss. I turned the

darkest shade of red you could think of. I’m in his arms

and he just kissed me; this is a very awkward

position. “Umm…”

“Don’t worry, my effects don’t last long.”

“Hey!” I slapped him on the head multiple times. Way to

ruin a moment!

“Ow! Stop!” he kept one arm around me and used the

other to fend his face.

I finally stopped after leaving a large bruise on his head. “I

was kidding. You take things too seriously, Haruka”

“As I was trying to say-,” He cut me off, but with his hand

this time.

“Don’t worry, I’m fine.” He let go

“But-,” and again

“No.”

“And-,”

“It’s all right.”

“It’s just!-”

“NO!” he came a little closer to my face to emphasize it.

Wow either this is fun or just plain, stinken annoying. He

let go and smirked. He came closer to my face to kiss me

again when-

“HEY KIDS!” MY dad is home! Not that I thought Shuu was

lying, but still. “Awesome, I knew you two would be

together someday.” My dad is back.

“What!!” I yelled. I jumped out of his arms about a good

five feet.

“I’m just kidding.” He laughed. Now I know where

Masato’s annoyingness comes from.

“Come on! Your mom is making some soup, unless you

want to go hungry and live in the tree house, I suggest

you guys come.” We looked at each other one last time

and went with my dad.

Whoa, a lot has happened these past couple days. My

Long time friend came back, we switched bodies, we

kissed! ... And my dad came back. Can life get any better?

All of a sudden, my cell phone goes off.

“Hello?”

“Haruka!” Hikari yelled excitedly.

“Ow. That’s one way to break my ear drum. What is it?” I

walked into the car.

“Well right now I just got back from the mall and” She

started giggling.

“What?!” suspense always kills me.

“Shinji kissed me!” she finally blurted out.

“What?!” Well, it is a night of awkward-nesses bleh.

“You know what I’ll tell you tomorrow, Bye”

“Wait! NO Tell me!” she hung up on me. “Grrr.”

“What was that big scene about?” Shuu asked with a big

smirk on his face.

“Umm… nothing.” My phone rings again. “Hello?”

“Haruka!” Kasumi yelled into the phone.

“Ow! There goes my hearing.”

“Sorry it’s just-,” I cut her off.

“Ok, let me guess. Satoshi kissed you.”

“Yes! What are you, psychic?”

“No, it was just a lucky guess.” I said sarcastically.

“So, you’re psychic?”

“NO! Hikari told me the same news with Shinji.”

“OH really that’s awesome!”

“Ok, what happened!?” this was getting annoying, Kasumi

gets out of this reality when something really big happens.

“You know what, I get a big feeling something happened…

with you and Shuu.”

“What!” Where’d she get that idea? I blushed, lucky

Kasumi wasn’t seeing me.

“I mean you and Shuu went off together so I just figured.

Oh just tell me tomorrow, Bye!”

“NO, look it’s just! … She hung up.” I slouched in my seat

of the car.

“What happened? I see you blush and I hear you yell, yell

and yell.” I blushed harder. Shuu was here the entire

time. “Um, I-,” The car came to a stop. My ticket out of

here was the door. I ran out the door. Shuu chased after

me into the backyard.

“You can’t get away that easily.” He was right; he caught

up to me in a matter of seconds. He grabbed my arm and

pulled me to the ground.

“HEY!” I fell and pulled him down with me. Consequently,

he fell on top of me in some push up position. I blushed, of

course. He smirked when he saw that and leaned in, which

made me blush more. My heart beat faster as well, just

what I needed in a time of peril. He leaned in closer happy

to see my reactions. Does he get some sick laugh from

seeing my reactions? He was close enough for our noses

to touch.

“Hey, kids! It’s time for… Oh, I’ll just leave you to your lip

conversation.”

“DAD!” I push Shuu off with all the strength I had left,

which was very little, and ran to the door. I saw mom

setting the table. I happily sat down. Shuu and my dad

just laugh as my mom looked at me cluelessly. I grabbed

my spoon and pointed it at Shuu. “It never happened.”

Was all I said before I ate my soup. He just smirked and

sat down next to me.

“Don’t worry, it won’t be the last. I know you enjoyed it.” I

give him a few WHACKS on the head for one comment

which shouldn’t have been said. Well, that’s pretty much

the start of my relationship with Shuu. Well, my life doesn’t

seem as dull and boring as it use to be, not after this

week. My friends are happy, my dad is back, and my

boyfriend is Shuu. My Side of life seems pretty good right

about now. Let’s hope it gets better.
