i love the hard contrast: the black is black and the white is white, just how it should be. the light on her pale skin does a great job and the attention is all to the subject, and it does not diverts into the background. i like the fact that the light does not come directly from the front of the model, but from her side: it creates a deep effect.
nice idea to keep the shot a little "crooked", like it was take fast during a walk in the city (as the blurry background suggests). the focus is perfect.

I like the framing and the angle.

I think that it works well in B&W too.

The background works well to support the subject, and it isn't distracting.

I do think that the subject could use a bit sharper focus though.
