Story: Son of the Green Lightspeed Rescue Ranger Joel Rawlings and Dr. Angela Fairweather, Shawn had been training from a young age to become a hero like his father, by enlisting in Marine Bay's Gamma program, he felt ready to save those in need. But as the years went by he became somewhat arrogant, to the extent that he saw his companions as a hindrance. But on one mission, Shawn was seriously injured by a Kay Lan's Specmon that left him sore from his ears that he didn't even hear a drop fall. Dr. fairweather (his mother) had to undergo an operation to implant a bionic device so that he would listen again, seeing everything that happened he began to return to his path and duty to him. Now with his new upgrade and weaponry, Shawn will help the other Rangers stop Kay Lan and protect the world as a tactical agent, a unique fighter ... as the Task Ranger.
