A mysterious meteorite strikes Japan, containing unusual properties. GDF manages to harness its extraterrestrial energy, and they conduct an experiment to use it to make super soldiers who could combat Kaiju. Names of the volunteers have not yet been revealed, but one has turned out successful, and births a giant humanoid later known as ZONE FIGHTER. The GDF refuses to reveal the secrets of Zone Fighter, such as who its successful host is, but he has chosen to aid the Earth Defenders in protecting Earth. And so far, Zone Fighter has proven to be successful, appearing in the most desperate of times.

There are some other prehistoric creatures I think would make great Fossil Pokémon! Here are some of them:
Opabinia (Since modern tardigrades might be related to this unusual Cambrian beastie, it could like a combination of both critters.)
Mussaurus (It would be clever to see it look like a mouse, due to it's name meaning "mouse lizard.")
Rhyniognatha (A Fossil Pokémon based on the first known insect could possibly be the distant relative of all Bug-type Pokémon.)
Dimetrodon (We need a Dimetrodon-based Pokémon already!)
Pakicetus (It's evolutions might look like other prehistoric whales such as Rodhocetus and Basilosaurus.)
