hey i saw the painting Trulyonetoo did of this pic. i was surprised how it turned out. i don't see the fish scale pattern he mentioned though. i think the photo has more of a emotional feel to it. it almost feels sad.

i like the way the wet sand is reflective like the surface of say a still pond or pool.. i would not of thought of it being so with such a thin layer of water. sorry i've just been obsessing lately with water and light and atmospherics in my painting. would you mind terribly if i did a painting of this? i could change the figure if it was a problem? it wouldn't be something i would sell and i would give you full credit if i post it? ...please?

part of it probably is how fine the sand is, the water washing over it leaves it very very smooth. it's really interesting to look it and photograph I think...

thank you so much, i'll let you know when its done. its a very interesting picture... it almost seems like all the water even the water on the beach is part of a pattern of circles, like scales on a fish... sorry i talk crazy like this all the time LOL i'll give you a shout and give credit and a link to your pic .. thanks again.
