Had a spur of inspiration the other day about this evolution, thinking about treating Pupitar as a proper cocoon of rock that the pseudo-legendary grew within, before emerging forth. Stuff like this is also why Tyranitar is one of, if not my favorite Pokemon, simply because this life cycle to becoming a pupa is unusual for what otherwise would be a little rock dinosaur becoming a Godzilla-esque monster.Related content

I really love this concept it feels like a metamorphic evolution how Pupitar evolve into Tyranitar with the limbs coming out and the head and breaking out of the Shell. this is a cool and wicked drawing and I love it and I would definitely use this for my Pokemon character when his Pupitar evolve into Tyranitar
