Great use of the wide angle.

Thanks! I'd bought it only a few days beforehand and am still usually happiest with this particular application of it.

Niiiice. From the thumbnail i was hoping it would be completely unmanipped, but when i blew it up i didn't give a shit, i mean sure it would be nice if stairs were built that way for the hell of it, but it looks real, and it looks awesome.
The guy looks kind of evil, so he's taking the downward, or maybe immorral path, but will eventually get to the desired location maybe even quicker than people with better morals. That's what it says to me, but that could just be because i'm bittered by society.

whoa!, you mean they built the staircase upside down like that? That's crazy.

what i love about this picture is the contrast and the mystery of it....is there a new beginning at the top or is it the end of line.
the composition is perfect and the silhouette seems to have rushed into the place looking for something or someone...nice

Thanks! You described it essentially in the same fashion as I'd seen it.

Well I think that as much as you're right in dedication teaches artistic ability (exactly the same thing goes for my drawing), I still think your perseption and ideas for what to capture can't be taught... and I guess for me personally - The photos you take stand out far more than any other photographer on DA. Everyone has different tastes, but I always seem to relate to your shots, it's really cool.
