SPOILER ALERT!!! For those who have not yet read the fourth book.With this drawing, I wanted to capture a "missing moment" from Inheritance (chapter 73 "Pieces on a Board ").
So I decided to draw the moment when Arya sends a message to Eragon.

I Bawled my eyes out as well. I was so sad that the story was over. Even though it ended wonderfully for me. I wasn't ready for it to be over.

I can just imagine Eragon traversing the wilds on his journey when one of Arya's grass ships floats up to him. Theirs could have been a romance for the ages. Stupid prophecies. At least they will always have Magic Skype. I still say he comes back eventually.

So I stopped reading when I finished Eldest. read a bit online and the ending of the series sounded too...happily ever after. Egaron's crush is a dragonrider who's dragon gets with saphira. gabatorix is overthrown and thorn and whats his name, murhtag die. Whas there more to it?

Some of what you said is true and some is false. Many things in the last book turn out "happily ever after" but the overall ending is very bittersweet. Anyhow you should just read it and find out for yourself! I thought the 3rd and 4th books were by far the best.

Yea, the thing is, Id have to re-read the first two, and I didn't enjoy them that must. I would have liked to enjoy it, but it was too corny for me. but i get what you're saying

Oh yeah, the first two were not nearly as good. I just picked up book 1 and read it for a bit and...well you can tell the kid was only 15 when he started writing it.

Oh! Also, at the beginning of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th books, there's a summary of what happened of what happened in the previous ones so you wouldn't necessarily have to re read them ^_^

Why would you do that? Stop reading a 2000 page series just because you heard the ending was to "happily ever after". Since your a human being that is capable of making your own decisions, and conclusions why not read the book and find out. Your doing yourself a disservice.

yikes. Well for one thing i didn't really enjoy the series. I like Saphira and thats why i kept reading it. Everything else i thought was a bit corny. For me it was ok when I was a kid, but not my type of book. plus i took a huge break when the third came out and I never finish series when I do that for some reason.
And I couldn't read it know because I have too high expectations of books. kinda shooting myself in the foot with things like that
