UPDATE: Got this fella scanned in and fixed up! You may all now enjoy him the way I do.
Once I get a better pic, I'll replace this one. It's crooked and driving me crazy...
Was really glad to get the chance/excuse to break out the watercolors. flygirldavies was very patient with me on this. It was SUPPOSED to be something simple and quick. I... May.. Have gotten carried away. But it was a lot of fun and turned out pretty well. I've got the perfect place for an actual stained glass panel like this. Maybe one day I'll actually have one made.

I love everything about this. The colours, the design and the fact it's an epic fire-breathing dragon.
People should make this a stained window in a church. Wouldn't it be epic to have this above your front door?

Oh, cool! You've done a really nice article, there. It's really cool to see so many stained glass dragons (plus a stained glass Dalek!). Thank you for the crediting, too! (And even links to my tumblr!) Ashley's cross stitch is a fantastic adaptation, too, and I'm glad to see folks like it. She had a real challenge matching a watercolor painting with embroidery floss.

Haha, yeah. I got fed up with my old printer/scanner not talking to my computer and borrowed a good scanner instead of relying on the phone cameras. MUCH better quality.
If I did get this done, I'd probably look at commissioning it. It has some odd shapes. This guy might be able to handle it, though.

I need to find a place that cuts glass into circles first.. it's harder to find than you'd think. I'd even setting for plexiglass to practice.

I'm starting to notice just how few non-bottle bottom round pieces there are in the stained glass pieces I've seen now that you've said that. Huh. Catwoman made it look so easy! XD
