Boy howdy, you don't want to get too close to that sun at 'full view'!!! Good thing my left eye is already shot to hell. It's breathtaking, Marshall.

Have you viewed it 'full view' on a newer, rather large widescreen with your face maybe a foot away? No, you haven't and I know why too. You're much too smart to do something that stupid. Sometimes it's difficult even for me to believe I'm not blond!

Hi,Well you once told me you have 1680x1050.I have 1600x1200.I do read from 18 inch away.I'm thinking your telling me something here, but honestly, looks good to me. In fact,if you notice in my description..."looks slightly darker then the uncompressed files in the zip"I'm thinking my viewers see this to dark, because it is definitely brighter in the BMP files, which is what I prefer. The PNG format used for this preview, darkened the image to the point where some detail is lost in the shadows. The BMP is ok. It could be my monitor settings are set lower then yours?I welcome your feedback.

I noticed your description, and it does seem on the dark side in the small view. Every image I've viewed at full view, looks significantly different than it did in the small view. I wasn't aware that the file type made a difference, so I thank you for the information. I render in .png format and then upload in .jpg to keep the file size small.I can't believe you remember my monitor's resolution, Marshall! I wasn't trying to tell you something in code... It may very well be that my settings are brighter, and I did view the image with no ambient or overhead lighting on. Plus I had my reading glasses on. Or it could simply be that I'm getting older (I don't know how that happened) and my eyes have become more sensitive. It's probably a combination of things, and it's not just this image that has seemed blindingly bright to me.It's really a gorgeous image, Marshall.
