Contest entry for #Icelandic-deviants contestwith the theme Huldufólk/álfar (Hidden people/elfs)
I only had little time to do this because the deadline's
tomorrow and I just noticed they had a contest earlier. D:

Information about Huldufólk:
Hidden people live in hills. They are pale skinned and
extremely beautiful. They sometimes try to seduce humans
on crossroads into their homes (the hills) with gifts.
If you accept coming with them you'll never be able to return
to the human world, but if you reject you will be awarded.
In Iceland it is still believed that certain hills are álfahólar
(elf hills) and if you disturb it or build over it you shall
be cursed. For example in Kópavogur ([link] ) where
the road narrows so it doesn't cross the elf hill.

tales of elves than the cliche elves most
people draw (even I draw them, ironically). xD

Yeah they are, I like the eerie/creepy
stories about them, gives them a mysterious feel.
Though I really adore elfs in general,
I'm a huge fantasy fan.
