Description
As part of a training exercise for the project I'll be working on, I'm re-accquainting myself with painting in photoshop without the convention of linework.
It turned out to be a really fun challenge! The goal being, to repaint one of Miyazake's classic BG layouts in the painterly style of said secret project. I was able to sample colors from the Porco Rosso palette, and then add some of my own touches as I went.

again brilliant stuctures! but i think the clifs in front could be alltogether darker... i'd just select them and pull them darker in ps <-this isn't meant to be know it all.. i just think that it would help the pic a lot!
