It is brilliant. I've only seen something like this once before, however I yours is somehow less intimidating, it is more comforting. I think it is because of the colours, you picked a great pallet. It isn't a sharp transition like jumping from hot water into cold, it is gradual and you softened the experience. Tis rather awesome *nods*. I shall

Simple and effective! I love how the opposite ends contrast, but the center section makes it nearly impossible to tell exactly where the two sections are divided. The use of colors is superb as well. The theme has been done many times before, but you've put a new twist on it. To my eyes at least, you haven't made the Technology side all "OMG POLUTION" or made the nature side wild and outlandish. Both sides seem serene and peaceful, the primary difference is in the shapes and colors present.
I also like how the two sides seem to bleed into each other. On the right, certain plants resemble strings of lightbulbs, on the left windmills rise like flowers.

oh my.... i love the contrast of technology versus nature.... i really like how the tech side is designated with blue/gray colors (cool metallic thing going on there XD) while the nature side is more reddish brown (warm colors signifying life) and then in the center is just full of color XD
