Gasp, homg, no way, you joined the group! Welcome welcome welcome my friend!
Cosmo sounds absolutely adorable! I bet his snobbish character would cause all sorts of hilarity and shenanigans when paired with my grumpy anti-social griffon boy. They should totally meet sometime!
I hope you have fun in the group!

No worries, I haven't had a lot of experience in RPing with others for a while... I've been writing a lot by myself for the past few years, with bouts of RPing with some friends, but overall I haven't done much besides writing by myself. We can build that experience back up together, heheh.
Yes but see, that's exactly why Cosmo and Sun Jet should meet. Think of all the possibilities. The hilarity, the shenanigans, the ridiculousness: there are so many comedic realms for them to touch and explore together! Ohohoho~

Hahah, we totally should! I'm up for comments or notes, whichever you'd like~ Or even scenes, like his contest picture is a good starting point to just snap him out of his 'HOMG I WILL DIE HERE' state of mind, hahah.

Hahah, no problem~ Never worry about delays, I can slow, myself, sometimes. Because of work and such silly life things.
Feel free to comment on Jet's picture, or to note me up, if you wanna RP them together~ Either is fine by me~ Jet is stupid stressed, so that's why I'm saying... Cosmo would most likely be the type of guy to walk up to him and strike a conversation. Oh mah gawd their polar opposite personalities will be delightful, I just know it.

Yeah, I know. I'm sorry, I haven't had a chance to properly sit down and reply. RL keeps me busy and very tired, and right now I just want to try to finish an app before I focus on my other things.
Sorry again. I hope to reply this weekend at the latest!

I'll try to reply after lunch tomorrow if I have a chance. I already know what to type, it's just getting to it!

Hahah, I have a lot to say about said workplace... I could rant about it for a looong time. It's not all bad really, just... ugh. It's mostly the people I work with. Bosses are nice, but coworkers? Whole different story... This what happens when you work with women.
Hahah, yeah, I... I still haven't replied I'm so sorry. I either don't have time or am too tired to really form anything coherent.
I'll try to reply this weekend though! And I don't mind you being slow or busy, hah, I've got the same thing going on!

Great now I'm more nervous if I ever start working >.< I haven't started work yet due to the fact of my disabilities and also I am considered by the government unemployable.
So are the girls just annoyingly chatty, don't do their work, text a lot?

Jaykobell In reply to Eternity9 [2014-08-17 21:20:13 +0000 UTC]
Oh, no, don't be! Really, working is all about where you go... There's honestly three things: the work itself, the boss(es), and the coworkers. Honestly, if you have two of those nailed down, you should be pretty good. It's important to love what you do, it's important to work with supportive coworkers, and it's important for your bosses to be reasonable and pleasant.
And damn, why something like flat-out unemployable? It may be more difficult if you have mental or physical disabilities, but...?
Ehhh, they're not all bad... Mostly it's that, I work in a department in particular. We recently downsized, so we're down to four people, including myself. I have no problem with my teammate, she's a beautiful girl and thank God she works with me. But see, the thing is that... we're two young girls (I'm 23 and she's 24) working with two women who are much older than us (42 and 70) and who have been there for 20 and 46 years, respectively. So...
I'm okay with the 42-year-old... usually. She taught me the job and she's our supervisor, it's just... she can be incredibly, incredibly condescending and accusatory. And sometimes she just says things... that really hit you the wrong way. And there are times when... even when you do it right, just because the client didn't keep their crap together, you're getting blamed for it. I've gotten into a few arguments with that supervisor over the most ridiculous things ever... like tabbing a paragraph too far in, or separating my lists in emails to make them stand out with two hard returns instead of one; in this case, I was told 'it's not proper grammar'. ... Lol. I... I— HOW IS THAT GRAMMAR? How about you go learn what grammar IS, and THEN you teach me WHAT I STUDIED IN SCHOOL, I.E., LANGUAGES.
And just dumb crap like that. And people checking on us and asking the receptionists to take down when we go for lunch and when we come back, because apparently someone thought we were taking more than our hour. And others who used to work in the office who went to complain to the bosses for the stupidest crap, like how a memo hadn't been worded exactly as it should've been. Because clearly that's worth bringing up to your BOSS.
Petty things that are constantly, constantly made into massive mountains. Ugh, it's emotionally tiring to go to work and to always feel watched and observed. 4-5 is the best time of the day on Tuesdays and Fridays, because the 70-year-old only works part-time and our supervisor leaves at 4, so my partner and I have some breathing time then.
Ugh, but there's so much more. I don't want to rant all that crap at you though. Hahah, but as you can see, there's a lot of pent up stuff... Thanks for asking though! Maybe I'll turn to dA one day if something massively ridiculous happens.

Wow, I think I can understand a little of those feelings, though my twin probably more so.
Well I do actually have metal disabilities, I am Dyslexic, on the Autistic spectrum and dysnumeric also I have a slight hearing problem, and a langue disorder.
I've had some interviews and from those interviews it has been determined that I could only work 8 hours a week >.<

Yeah, it's not a happy place to be in, to be honest. Every day is just... what will they come up with next? Again just today I got flake for a stupidity that could've been resolved in 30 seconds, but of course everything has to be an argument so of course we had to talk about it for like a solid 5 minutes of nothing and arguing.
Homg, what. 8 hours a WEEK? B-but why so little? I do know for a fact some autistic people are very functioning and can be independent, although I guess it depends on the intensity of the illness... And at the office we have someone who is dyslexic and she works in our filing system... with numbers... So if you don't have too many numbers, you could be fine? Maybe? Again, I don't know how severe your disorders are on their respective scale, but yeah.
I mean, I don't know how bad all your illnesses are when they're all on top of each other either, but... Idk. You sound okay, but I guess maybe from the internet it's harder to judge. But that's harsh. Is there really no job out there that you could do, despite everything? Or maybe even volunteer work of some kind? It doesn't pay, but at least it could let employers know that you're capable of working with the public, etc.
I have a cousin who has a mental disorder, that I think is very similar to autism; for the life of me, I can't find the English name of what he has. He takes medication to help, and he went to a special school for children with mental disabilities. He was very appreciated and liked where he was, and he even won a special medal from the general governor here in Canada. He has a bit of trouble speaking, where sometimes he's a bit hard to understand, but he's not necessarily that bad. He did manage to get a job at a hardware store here, and he works nights, since he can't interact with clients: but he can work.
So yeah that's why I'm wondering. Maybe nights could work out for you? I mean, again, you sound fine. I'm sure there could be something out there for you if someone bothered to look!

Sorry to hear about the arguing
I don't know how they came up with the 8 hours a week thing, but it makes me harder to employ, it does mean I'll be eligible for a disability pension in November though because I've been ranked so low.
I guess the problem is I'm only qualified in digital art, but I am training to be a practitioner, but that'll take me years to complete. I don't sound too bad over the internet because it gives me time to think, you can't make someone wait several days for you to talk back to them in real life. Also, when it comes to night >.>' I would never be able to do a night shift, sure I've been able to stay up later now, but it has the unfortunate effect of making me grumpy and gives headaches. Then I am not fun to be around XP
I sadly also don't work well under pressure, and unfortunately I get stressed easily, and its hard for other people who don't know how to explain things to me or talk to me when I'm flustered, I'd also need one of my family members to come with me for the first week of whatever job thing that I do, because despite how much I'll try to be calm myself and think logically about the new situation my brain is going to freak out about it, and I need someone I know to help me out.
I am considered a high functioning autistic, but I still have a problems handling people. Also, numbers...my worst enemy , I can't get phone numbers right my brain just mixes up the numbers.
But I'm not worried, I may not be employable right now, but I will be in a few years time, and my disability pension will keep me going while I'm training .
