Coming from i must say before going into this, most people's likable anthro style is extremely subjective and specific. So...this style is probably liked by a lot ^^ but not by others. Anyway, some of this critique might be biased i have to say, your anatomy is GREAT. I've only drawn ONE anthro, and I have to say, I have a lot of respect for you artists now XD There's hardly ANYTHING I can comment on in that front!! Except the head is strangely set upon the head, but that's about it. And again: this is completely subjective, but I DO prefer more animalistic legs on anthros. But that's just me. The expression is...well...it's very ill defined. But I don't think that's a problem at all. This isn't a scene. Just a very well drawn pose. The lines could afford to be smoother, also the colors are kind of...grayish and grungy. But you DO have a great sense in drawing/painting fur! I can't draw realistic fuzz for the life of me. I've always disliked differently colored long hair on anthropomorphic animals. But I must say- the shine and strands on the hair is very lovely and amazingly drawn!!Silvermuttt out~

Thanks for the critique! I'm way more comfortable drawing with traditional media so I totally agree with several of your points. I appreciate the comment about anatomy because I would love to draw people well but have a very hard time. I figure drawing some anthro's might help as an in between creature from animals to people lol So thank you, that's a huge compliment I did't really notice the head thing till you mentioned it actually. the anatomy seemed right in the sketch so I'm wondering if it's the colour and lighting that have a roll in that, I dunno. I'm also still trying to master the pen tool for sharp clean lines but I'm not having the best of luck haha! I started out using it but scrapped that layer and did the lines by hand instead otherwise I'd have spent FOREVER on this no doubt. And the fur... to tell the truth I'm a bit disappointed in some area's, but like I said I'm still learning this digital stuff! I was using Photoshop Elements 9 before but my computer crashed and I haven't been able to get it on this laptop *cries* so now I use Paint Tool SAI and I'm still feeling my way through it with minimal help. The hair is probably my favorite part lol THANK YOU so very much for taking the time to stop by and critique me God bless!
