What a fucking ending. That fight was incredible, the villain was a ton of fun, and they didn't overdo it. The whole alicorn thing was a huge overreaction last season, and I like that this entire season touched very little on her role as a princess right up until the last couple episodes. So what do they do? They make her official role the same thing she's been doing. "But wait," say the naysayers, "what about her status compared to the other five?" Her throne room is the fucking Council Of Friendship. That was so cool. I don't know, I feel like this whole thing was handled very well. Nothing felt over the top (except the crazy awesome fight), and developed in a logical, reasonable way. Tirek was a cool throwback to gen1, and made a fantastic antagonist. We really got to see the characters put everything on the table to beat an enemy they had no chance of defeating. And it paid off.And let us not forget, LUNA SANG. LUNA GOT TO DO SOMETHING.
Also, my suspicion is that the chest/seed of harmony expended itself making the Fortress of Friendship, so we might not see those god-awful designs again. Why didn't I draw rainbow-Twilight for the final image? WHY DO YOU THINK?

What I cant figure out is if the fortress was built on the ruins of the library or not?Β And since the others now have a throne do they have to move in or do they just come in for vists, friendship meetings/summits?

I really enjoy seeing 98% of the brony community bitch about Rainbow Power. XD Also, I cried when Let The Rainbow Remind You hit. And, she has a reaaaally good castle. May the Library rest in peace...

Ugh, why does everyone seem to be so keen to insult the Rainbow Power forms? Sure, they were quite girly and all that, but one of the show's purposes is to promote Hasbro's pony toys, believe it or not, and I certainly don't mind a little girly sparkliness every now and then as long as the writing of the show remains excellent. Season four had a few bad episodes, but mostly it was amazing, possibly even better than season two. The finale was epic and I loved pretty much everything about it. Yes, even the Rainbow Power. Come on, people, the Mane Six fucking Mega Evolved. It doesn't get much more badass than that.

It's IMPOSSIBLE not to notice the library.
Even from that small detail of the playset, it's abundantly clear that her castle's library is MUCH bigger than Golden Oaks.
And a lot of people, me included, think that the Tree of Harmony was nice enough to pre-stock Twilight's castle library with "repaired"(perfectly recreated by the Tree of Harmony) versions of ALL the books she lost. Β After all, the Tree LITERALLY made Twilight's castle in accordance to her heart's desires.

I found it kinda funny when Luna sang. I mean, it was awesome, but she kinda had Rarity's singing voice, imo.
Other than that, still awesome and the finale was freaking bombtastic.

I didn't check who sang for Luna, but they sound similar to me. Seeing as you gave me that info, Luna should sound more like Rarity's talking voice than her singing voice, haha. Nonetheless, I just liked seeing her participate in singing along.

I can't think of anything wrong with the episode,mi didn't even mind that they just rain bowed the villain in the end they worked their way to it. And the rainbow power designs are...well rainbows looked cool.
over all this is probably my favourite episode of this series, discord was awesome, the characters were badass, tirek was a great villain, and we got so much more than expected.
and now a moment of silence for twilights library...it has taken a lot of abuse in the show and now it can rest in peaceΒ

Yeah. That episode was epic. For once we got a real villain. Very good idea they returned Tirek for the 30th anniversary of the franchise. Very cool castle.... taking the place of the destroyed library. *sigh* Poor library....
Luna sang. Expect remixes of it soon.
And we already got used of their rainbow power appearance. Silly style, though.

Great work, i love the season finale too, the only thing i didnt like was that when they transform i was hoping something not so fairy, but the figth the villian was not my favorite queen crisalid was better, and discord beleive the guy when anione would realize that it was a fake, but overall the season was good, and the season finale was awesome, the final moment was a little predictable, but it was amaizing, love it, and the council of friendship idea was cool too, thanks a million for this awesome work
